Patricia, have you written or could you in the future write about the “trust” learning curve to trusting this guide dog will guide you correctly? Maybe there’s not much to say about it—but I’ll be honest, even when blindfolded and you’re asked to be guided by another, there’s an internal ask—can I rely that this person will not let me fall?
Was it automatic for you knowing the dog is trained? Or did it help that you went with instructors perhaps at first to demonstrate he would guide you correctly?
