You were too young - it's one of those things that as a mature older adult, you can handle such a request tactfully and clearly....just dealing with a sick loved one - all your thoughts and emotions are over "there."

So in my opinion - this nurse is somewhat of a con artist, she well knew exactly what she was doing and with whom, and the timing.

So please don't beat yourself ...it's such a delicate and individualized scenario dealing with a very sick father. big hug!
