You shouldn't apologize for a listicle -- anyone who takes the time to read and get to know you should know you're going to give heartfelt, sincere advice. Truly -- and you know what? They are helpful and easy to read -- and I enjoy them from time to time! It's good to mix it up!

(I'm partly saying all this, because I'd like to write one someday--- and I feel the negative feedbacks shouldn't generalize them. Clearly the accounts here in Medium that write them 100% of the time are the ones that merit the criticism. Just my opinion! ;-))
