Just careful thought and reading can easily tell the reader—most times:

The writer just wanted to write their emotions

Or

The writer wants dialogue on a topic

Recognizing the first should stop most from thinking it’s a story to share a different opinion—so how we write needs to make it clear if our heart and mind are ready to discuss.

It can easily be missed. But I agree Julie—this platform is very healthy…I think!!
