You know, I focus so much on your path as an artist (writer/photograher/musician) that I forget your teaching career - and I LOVE that part of you. Thanks for sharing your perspective as a teacher - and I could tell that most teachers in the early years always found it odd that I would tell them: I would never expect you to give to my child all he needs, there are just too many children and far too many needs. It's impossible and that wasn't even the purpose of teaching - the roles have changed and the expectations of parents have contributed to the loss of quality education. Parent don't see the pivotal role they hold and it's hurting us all as a society.

I applaud both you and your daughter's mother for what you did - it's truly commendable. I know I will be looking onward in the future if I'm a grandparent and fully will be open with my children how they cannot make the mistake I made.

Thanks for your time my friend! Appreciate you and the read!
