You have me reflecting upon this line and its meaning...for quite some time.

The death of hope --perhaps of something you know can't be or won't?...profound. I so associate hope with positivity...and you're right, sometimes we have to let that hope for the unattainable - go. Very difficult.

I've thought about you a lot lately Benighted...I've had my own struggles lately, but have hoped you are well.

You mentioned "finding peace" - and I too have been so desperately wanting peace of mind and heart. A few things mentioned, and others I simply cannot -- weigh heavily and truly have been unlike anything I've ever experienced.
