You handled this review mentally and emotionally quite well. Most of us will look back at even medium articles we’ve written and cringe at the way we wrote and even mindset we had. We all change.
As I often say it’s not what she said—rather how. Sound like you and I agree with her on that different strategies work for different people—and she could have stopped and moved on.
