You got this!!!! I’ve plateaued for two week now and in the last week, I walked almost daily so I was a bit bummed.
But I want to encourage with something I do:
Take the tape measure and measure different parts, and then measure in a couple of weeks. It’s so encouraging when the scale doesn’t move to see loss of inches.

Also—read Paul Dermody here in Medium…he’s a trainer and his writings are so empowering and offer a perspective that I’ve never heard. He even has a podcast. Sharing in case you find helpful!

I know I’ve not been good with my vegetables. I’m still eating carbs and I’m on the fence about getting off of them. I’ve done it and it 100% works.

I still don’t know long term how I want to deal with it…

You’re doing the right thing Matt. I’m getting closer to 50–and it just gets so much harder than when I was 40. So this is the time!!! I know you’ll do this!!!

One step at a time—2023 is our health year!! Let’s do it!! I’ll try to keep accountable with you!
