Niko—I was so happy to see your posted email show up. I was saddened you left medium —so I deeply appreciate that you would trust your reader to learn from your shoes and it gave me insights I must admit I’m ignorant of when it comes to depression.

A friend I’ve come to understand asked me in the middle of her depression —how do I find my purpose and what was it?

I was stunned by what she asked and I found it so hard to describe—but that question never left me.

So I find it telling that you used the same question.
