Wow - Mitch, loved learning more of your journey...so it was the push you needed to just say, "let's do it?!" Still, I know that leaving the culture and lifestyle of the "island mentality" straight into the US is one dramatic shift!

You are incredibly compassionate and so well-informed and open-minded: that is very hard to nurture in Trinidad. When we visit, there are too many back home that stay in a very simple-minded way of life and I know I couldn't live there long term either....and yet, the feelings/smells/people/food/music are all too sweet to visit...

Once you branch out and grow -- you can't return to how you "used to be"...so we visit 😉 and enjoy the moments...

I have always thought Canada is one of the most amazing countries that exist. I lived in Buffalo and I can't believe I never got to witness the Carnival in Toronto - massive Trinidad community there...we have family members that made a beautiful life in Canada.

The biggest problem is the cold...OMG its cold.

I see the trend too Mitch...but please let us hope it is fought...ugh which reminds me November is near.

Thanks the chat my friend...have a good weekend!!
