Wow Bali—must be amazing! I look forward to reading more about your adventures!

I’m in the metropolitan city of Monterrey, it’s the commercial capital of central and South America. It’s not necessarily the “retirement” city that any expats would think of, but it’s oozing opportunity and a growing diversity —so a lot of promise! We arrived right in the pandemic.

As a Latin it’s not a huge culture shock, but having lived in the US I did come with “a mindset” and “comforts” I was accustomed to—

I lived all over the US: Texas, Virginia, Buffalo NY, Charlotte NC, Atlanta, outside of Philly—
So quite an array! ;-)

And agreed—the next generation needs to step up. How many more warnings do they need?
