Wonderful you -- remember this: if and when you so choose, your body and mind will do for you things you can't imagine it would do -- because love. That connection that is so powerful say between friends, or lovers or even siblings...but then the one between child and mother is out of this world -- and yet, so many biological mothers are the crappiest? So -- ugh, everytime we seek a formula -- there isn't one.
But I don't want you to be scared because much more often than not -- all is quite well with your little ones.
Key thing is this: make sure the one that is at your side is the one that would go through fire with you so that you have each other to lean on when the going gets tough.
THATS why single parents are such superheroes...but often you'll read their stories andyou'll hear of the people in their village that are just incredible.
And Fatunla -- talking about village -- if there's anthing that of GREATEST advantage to you:is that you're born from of one of the few societies in this world that actually understands and embodies: community help. Your Nigerian family will stand by you and help you in ways others don't...even with the very little they have...
I know there are always exceptions to the rule - and so I"m making a lot of assumptions here. But don't be afraid - just be afraid enough such that it helps you to make wise choices about IF to have children and WHEN. Other than that -- move forward...it is a remarkable rewarding and enchanting experience like no other: being a parent.
Much love to you!!
