I've had friendships where some just did now know how to turn off the sarcasm and it would eventually be annoying. I've watched it in relationships where it was the knife that was used to constantly chip away at the other - those are painful to watch.

I've been with my partner long enough to where we use it in aggravation or playful tone, the other takes it well...that comes with a lot of time, and having established respect.

I think it's beautiful you are being so honest and open in your relationship! So happy for you Sandy - keep the stories coming!!!
