While reading this (had to take a pause as my mother had called) - my husband texted me an article and said: must read. The title is, "Clarence Thomas' Latest Criminal Ruling is an Outright Tragedy"...and I'm bracing myself.

If the courts are compromised, I feel many do not have a clue what it is to lose impartiality and justice. Ugh - I refuse to let my mind go there, I just couldn't bare to know that's where the US can head.

I swear 45 stuck a pencil in a crack and that split in the foundation of the democracy just seems to keep splitting and splitting for miles without end.

It's so deeply troubling.
