While I agree that pursuing the race to the moon brought us many advances that we all enjoy today - including our cell phones...I feel technology is at a point in its exponential curve that instead of increasing the pursuit of space exploration - I would like to see all nations work to safeguard the earth. We are killing this planet -- we are at a crucial point where even living on earth is going to be unsustainable and we have to make corrections to all the progress that we have been doing for the last 100 years...

I'm not advocating the stop or pursuit of it -- I just don't want to add to its budget.

I want to add to education - to make sure this world even has a chance at understanding where we are and how we got here, and to the environment: without water and clean air - how can we continue to progress, and for what?
