When my article was boosted on the day that the $hit hit the fan - and the dollars trickled in, no one will convince me otherwise that the article lost at least $60-$100 dollars for just those few days...

And I have data on others to prove it...

But I knew it wouldn't matter.

My October "appeasement" is roughly $20

For the last few weeks I kept telling myself, "Nat, don't be surprised you'll get $5 or $10...but do not for one moment think you're getting close to what you think that article was set to get..."

And true to form - $20.

It's a way of saying - here, have this little something. But it's no bonus and it's certainly no engagement payment....I don't know what to call it.

Anyhow - as you - trying to ignore/forget it all...and move on.
