When I first got married and lived in a suburb of Buffalo NY—my husband and I as first homeowners, were quite surprised how great a task it is to manage a lawn. In our subdivision was the first “rewilding” that I had ever seen and it absolutely tickled me—and thought how wise of them to thumb up society’s so-called standards and let it be…in our three years it was accepted as far as I knew?

After that yep—felt the pressure of associations to keep up.

My favorite home —we let be. We cut it—but we stopped the whole chemical thing. And for the most part—it was just fine.

Now I live where everyone covers tiny little gardens with plastic turf or cement it—omg it drives me insane!

You make a very valid push and we truly are at the point where we all need to begin with changes. As anything worthwhile, won’t be easy…but for this beautiful planet—it’s a must.

Lovely quotes btw!
