What Stands Out After My First Year on Medium and What I Earned

I never imagined that writing for one year on Medium would make me feel as inspired and empowered as I do today.
I celebrate this anniversary in appreciation for this great platform and publications that took a chance on me when I first began — thank you to all the founders and editors (too many to name) — for your efforts, kindness, and loving support!
More importantly, I would not have remained on this platform, if it wasn’t for the vibrant community of writers and readers who have supported and encouraged me each step of the way — thank you all.

I became a member in March 2021 starting as an avid reader and was instantly intrigued by the engaging comment section.
One year later, I applied to the MPP nervously reading every article I could find on formatting articles and learning how to join publications.
