What a gripping story -- and at the same time, very depressing to read and see how we can so easily all -- be living next to very lonely people - and all be unaware. I'm glad you said it: no one is to blame, but how I applaud you for writing this and for the efforts your building is doing to bring people together. Maybe name the initiative or get together after him -- as a way to honor that it is through him that you are all reminded of the importance of community and looking out for one another.
