What a fantastic story to help change and ease one’s concerns—and it truly is the silver lining that helps to celebrate those who enjoy it and find it as a stepping stone to a better future for themselves! I think the idea of celebrating our diversity and then in the competition grant the winner scholarships to better her own life and any mission they believe in! I’m all for that—

So many times it truly is about —-how do we do that and how do we frame it?

As I read your comment it made me realize, maybe part of evolving and doing away with the patriarchy is changing the label—and instead of pageant we call it something else! ;-) just brainstorming!
