Well, we coincided at 2!! πŸ˜€πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚...I agree on that bottom half - you're dead on.

I guess your number 1 and 6 is what I would have swapped...I really love the subplot Karen and Harry for one and only one reason and it's personal. Otherwise, everything you presented is pretty spot on.

The Karen Harry subplot is not even a focal point and clearly not as fun, memorable and entertaining as the Prime Minister and Natalie's - my name sake...

Why Karen-Harry is so big for me is because the moment when she opens the gift that she imagined was the necklace, and THAT song is playing in the background - and she LITERALLY does NOT utter a word - is BY FAR one of the most iconic movie scenes for me. Nothing is said - and EVERYTHING was said...

There are SO many broken marriages - and her face, her realization, the shattering of hope and love and expectation was so incredibly portrayed in this moment...she personified what many women experience when they are betrayed.

I'm grateful that I never have been. But that moment taught me many years ago - the moment I saw it - what so many feel, and I was crushed. I bawl like a baby...I become one with many sisters across the planet...and some close friends and relatives who mean the world to me.

So it's not really - the subplot right?

You're probably going to say, "Nat, that's a scene - I'm talking about story lines."

Well yeah - but, this was a part of it for me...so it's up there. LOL

πŸ™ƒπŸ˜‰LOVED your article as always!!!!

Happy holidays!!!!
