YES - it has happened to me and had no idea it would! NEVER thought this happens in Medium; I want and still want to learn to write - and will with each story. But finding the most beautiful human beings, like you Mitch - has been a gift!

Living in a new country it's so hard to meet like-minded people, and being older - it is clear that will only get harder to do, no matter WHERE you live. I have found people that I too wish were my neighbors - would love to have you drop in for coffee and bring your fuzzy grand and the Mrs.!!!!
