They definitely were all going to be hurt once engagement was rewarded—they seldom or never do. I bet that sent many running …
Now that it’s changed once again—I bet some of those will return.

I know Medium ultimately wants to just have quality writing. I have no doubt that has to be a continuous challenging task.

Now we all struggle to understand what is a “typical reward” for a quality piece ….in time I hope it becomes clear what Medium seeks to hide in the dark.
