Recently my husband and I both hoping the Dems will hold onto the majority this November, argued about the possible outcomes. He argued the economy would trump it all and Trumpeters would come out in full force. I argued that Dems would be fired up about the loss of voting rights, loss of womens rights, Jan 6, etc…

He told me: Nat you forget about the power of people paying their bills….

And my frustration lay in that while I understood his point—everything you said here is EXACTLY why I’m already losing my $hit thinking we are going to lose our democracy.
