This was such a thought provoking article Carmellita—really enjoyed it! I have not studied philosophy much in my life—so you taught me a bit in here.
Personally—pleasure is too broad and all encompassing in so many facets of our lives. The minute we police and judge others for what is too much or dangerous—we lend ourselves to also be judged for what we find pleasure.
As others have well pointed out—and you…so long as I’m not infringing on others and ( my personal philosophy): forcing on others….seek each your joy and pleasure! Oh my—why not??
