This was such a beautifully well-written essay - and you even taught me a writing lesson. I've never seen interview presented so seamlessly and yet we got to know you as well and your perspective. The pictures are wonderful as is his story! I hope he lives a really long life - clearly it's more fulfilling than many of us with no health problems!
