Just wanted to share: I never thought about it until you wrote here so well—the search for what the “eye” displays. I wanted to pick up the phone and tell you: this so much this!!!!

And exactly when I couldn’t see what I felt was there in my sons or students, that I would feel most frustrated. I’m an open book—and it’s my face—eyes and all. I’ve tried hard to mask—it’s against my grain.

So when I seek the same and I’m shut out—I just know, there’s a world behind there I’ve never seen and this person probably knows I can’t understand.

Loved your lesson and what you didn’t say—as it taught me as much as what you did.
