I love your perspective and you teach me - who has always been on the bigger size - who has received the signals all her life, she's "too big" - I've wanted to hide my curves, hide my "bigness" -- I've learned that the bodies praised are yours, that yours is the one to aim for.

To hear you describe how yours isn't adequate or seen in a negative light is a powerful lesson -- to me.

Society just sends us so many mixed signals and our very malleable esteem as young girls learn some pretty fucked up lessons on what is acceptable and not, what is real and what is not, what is pretty and what is not.

Then it takes all kinds of unlearning and relearning...
