There’s an exodus and massive shortage of teacher in the US; maybe worldwide countries will finally get a clue and start valuing their teachers and the enormous responsibility and tasks they carry.

Fully agree: parental involvement is key.

Issue is: many of these parents are uneducated and dealing with poverty and issues that have them working multiple jobs.

It’s a complex issue—all hands on deck needed.
