The Great Mash-Up of Old Memories and 10-Word Stories

When was the last time you pulled out your old photo albums?

A month ago Sally Lotz challenged me to “ten random pictures each with a ten-word story,” and a couple of weeks later Jason Provencio challenged me to a childhood memory challenge: “Think of the first ten memories from grade school age or younger.” I did, and it’s not necessarily the ones in these pictures! Thanks to both of you — I had a blast reminiscing!!

I thought — “How about I do both challenges together?!” I pulled up 10 random pictures from my childhood and college albums and labeled them with a factual 10-word story that describes the picture.

Ten memories with a 10-word photo story

1. She beat me even after begging her to slow down!!

My sister is on the right, I’m on the tricycle…bike races were common at birthday parties! (circa 1978)

2. I asked him to check the box “yes” or “no.”
