Thanks, Rui for sharing your thoughts and perspective. I think most do realize (once they stay here long enough), they don't have the time to bond and build community - and just want the readers organically. (That's how I see why so many do drop out or leave)

At some point, there is a place where some (organic reads)-- I suppose-- happens (may happen?) with solid writing that caters to the interest of a wider audience...

However, I can see as I'm sure all of you who have been here much longer - Medium rewards community building and therefore, keeps encouraging writers to believe the only way to get readers is by bonding and community building.
