Powerful what he said—and I think that’s what is so scary about the current fundamentalist Christian is that there are professed themes of love, kindness, forgiveness and it masks exactly what he said:
They care more about standing firm to their theology than anything else—
And what that looks like is exactly where we are.

And we are back in a place where religion has demonstrated its incredible ugly demons and the danger it poses to society….I dance around being direct with how I feel about this. But I will say: it angers me to no end what they have brought upon the US. I saw the turn in the US when religion began to marry politics and it was incredibly concerning.
The signs were all clear when Bush and the Christian Coalition found each other ….
