Thanks Alan—for getting it—and sharing that relation with me. I love your writing—and I must share: I’ve seen it evolve in these last two years. I haven’t had the opportunity to tell you—but often I sense you’ve unlocked an intimacy that you are allowing more in your stories and I feel there’s more of a comfort on your side to letting it go. I’ve loved it and I’ve learned from watching the evolution of the writers I enjoy.

We all change and it’s a good thing…and hopefully for the better, making us all better writers.
