Thank you, Sara. It's fascinating; so many think math is a "talent" - you have it or don't.

Yet everyone easily accepts that reading and writing are nurtured...

However -- It's exactly the same with math.

Both if given the same attention and importance from a young age -- present a strong foundation.

And foundations don't mean we are all going to be authors or great mathematicians...but foundations help us each to at least have a standing upon which to build.

You're 100% right -- I did one and not the other and I do feel enormous guilt.
