Thank you for the informative and very important message—I learned a few things, and I thought I was informed.
It’s a sore spot when I’m reminded how quickly uninformed men assume their hearts care for “life” yet jump in to have opinions and, more so, say, on what individual women choose to receive/do medically with their own bodies. I think they care about their religion and ideologies only.
Men never have had a medical right taken away and no one has ever dictated to them how, what roles or consequences they must play in forming this life—and yet many continue to fight for strict draconian abortion laws. It angers me that it’s even a discussion—
How difficult is it to accept: the decision and choice is hers. Her body—her choice.
It is not complicated. They complicate it for one reason imo: to control and have a say.
Thanks for writing this, I hope it’s read far and wide.
