Tell Greg I said he rocks.

I feel fortunate others may say it’s a bubble, but I don’t feel so—most of my immigrant family and friends —all of us as minorities as pretty much on the same page; I don’t have those close family relatives or friends to call and listen to the why.

But I will say I did this in 2016…I tried….

I understand they’ve all been wonderful human beings and some not so wonderful just like those on my side of the spectrum—but I need some silence.

I’ve spent weeks talking to people on the spectrum of beliefs and it’s very hard to process the “why” of the other side bc I need time to grieve.

And then I will. I recognize the importance of what you’re saying. I hope they see that we trusted democracy and have accepted their choice for the nation. I hope they hold their elected leaders to follow through on promises and results —

Ultimately we all need each other and need to end this toxic division. I so want to disagree on taxes and then kiss and hug and forget politics. I’m so done with being identified by a vote and would love that we all shared what we found and then everyone head back and go look it up—like caring thoughtful citizens.
