Ted, I asked myself this question after reading your article,

If I was the head of a university, who would I not allow to speak and for what reasons? Curious if you were, in such a position -- would there be any that you would not allow?

Not easy to answer, but I had a couple come to mind...made me dig deeper as to the why...and perhaps just encouraging students to discuss why such speakers should be allowed or not will help get to the bottom of what's a healthy balance?

Echo chambers are destrucive; and speakers who speak fallicies or just want to bash certain groups are detrimental.

I like that you're asking just how do we make sure the pendelum doesn't swing to any one particular direction too much....that was my take away! ;-)
