Taking the article in stride as you wrote it…enjoyed your very positive attitude and great take away!

—analyzing it from a math professor POV
—I have SO much I want to say

How sad that back in the day academia was filled with so much “I got you” kinda questions —a guessing game, which makes you wonder: how did they think this was possibly okay??

While I was one to be a part of the generation that changed that: we needed to be clear what the objective of the test was, and give students adequate information to learn it and show us fairly what they learned….

Sadly now — it’s frustrating to see that students expect to be spoon fed everything.

From one end of the pendulum to the other…neither helpful—neither way as it should.

Okay—guess I wasn’t brief.
Sorry….my two loves: math and education….I couldn’t help it!

And omg calc 2!!! And one dumb proof memorized?!! Ugh…sorry—what an insult the beauty and power of calculus….
