Such an important insight—“if I fill it with being busy, I won’t get to the bottom of why it ails”….never thought about it like that and you’re right.

I did learn some important aspects about myself yesterday. Sometimes one avoids this commitments out of fear of what we know can be difficult, but I learned that there are some parts of me that haven’t changed from the time I was a young teenager, and there are aspects I “assumed” I conquered, that nope—needs working on. A bit of humble pie. 😌

And each of these experiences push us to —growth—but you’re right, wouldn’t have happened with excessive energy and noise.
