Such a thought-provoking reflective piece Brandon…and yes you’re very good about respecting your family members so it was a surprise to learn you have a gay brother …I find it particularly surprising because one may even expect that it would have helped you two to confide and support each other and yet —seems not.

It hurts my heart and makes me think what should I do differently as a parent? Member of society? How do we change this? How do we make sure all children of all sexuality be safe, accepted, loved…

Religion is far from the answer and seems to be at the root of a lot of our problems….
