So sorry you had so much going on—and it’s good for all of us to be reminded we all can fall prey. I warned a cousin of mine right when it happened weeks ago—he still believed the hacker. I’ll never forget a scammer made a relative believe them before me…but my cousin was madly desperate.

Our emotions and mindset have everything to do with it—I think that’s what’s so criminal about it: it’s a completely betrayal of trust at a moment of vulnerability. Making it so much harder to recuperate after a big money loss…
