So much I wish I could share, limited by this space…but it made me smile to hear you say you’ll take a reset and start anew. It’s so encouraging isn’t it? I love the idea of a clean slate, love the newness.
Can I share this with you…if I may take the liberty. While you may think I’m “young”, I don’t see it, and even at my age I feel like I’m behind, I feel there’s so much I can/could do—and it’s a bit frustrating. But let’s:
Write down everything we have —drawing out details of it—making our eyes see what we have, as we close out the year. Sometimes we dwell so much on what we want to do, hope to do, think we can, plan to do: all those make our past small.
But Julie, with what little (and yet much) I know about you—you’ve made a world of a difference on your and others’ lives!! I don’t like to hear you don’t feel you’ve accomplished much, because I believe just raising children is and of itself huge. We have to remind ourselves over and over. You’ve done more than that too…so all to say:
I think you are amazing and perfect the way you are! What you decide you’d like it is all just the cherry on top!
If that cherry is so huge is overwhelms the pie, well so be it!
We love you still the same!!
Onto 2023…taking your advice to heart too.
Thanks for being so transparent and vulnerable with us…love you!
