Shashi—so sorry for the passing of your dearest mother and father, most recently. How touching and how proud they’ll be to know their son continues his reflection upon ways he interacted with them and what lessons could have been learned:
There’s nothing that would be make a happier mom if tomorrow was my last day on earth: to know my son’s will rethink their behavior to help create a more kind world.
While I can easily identify and know I’ve felt anger for similar scenarios—that bubbling upset emotion is one that you’re right we should learn to identify and tame—I love how you worded your advice to us and one I will try to keep in mind.
I think I’m at fault in being to quick to anger at times in my marriage and need to be softer, gentler and more patient—even as a mom.
Thanks for sharing your personal anecdotes and lesson. Touching! Keep well Shashi!!
