Powerful storytelling.

The stories my parents told of the “mothers and fathers” from the catholic schools they attended were laced with fear and strong control of these figures over them….never had I ever heard of story of someone in their childhood in education that offered warmth, joy, and certainly not fun.

It’s so sad that such an entity continues to have such a stronghold in society—thanks for sharing your story. It made me so angry at this man—hard to fathom those were just “normal” times.
