Powerful narrative arc…from beginning to end…from the personal to the collective.

I’ve read on medium a little about the shadow as you’ve described but only fully now in your beautifully crafted piece. Thanks for the lesson….

I do believe my deep cry in the night once the results were in—was my shadow seeing the shadow of millions and it pained me like I haven’t felt. I do know pain—at the mother level, as a daughter as a wife…but the pain of a fellow citizen knowing the battle and choice of path the collective chose FOR me—aw. It crushed me—

It took diving into my shadow and staying there quietly for awhile—I may still be there, protecting my flame to make a purposeful and wise chose of where to light it to help us all stay connected—or should I say—to help us reconnect?

Your essay ended on a moving and inspiring note that so many of us needed to hear—
So thank you dear sister for shining your light as you know best—

Thanks for lighting up hope.
Much love. 🌈
