Point well made and taken.

Count me in with strongly supporting universal health care, strengthening our public education, and bring back regulations on corporations that have recently been eliminated by Trump’s justices.

Perhaps you who see this as a time to reform the broken two party system and the time to take down the big lobbyist interests and corporations that indeed have corrupted both parties. I’d happily join in as well—

But,
I see it as a time where the foundations which even allow us the freedom to have a voice/opinion are broken.

I’ll be the first to support elimination of hunger and cold.

But today August 2024–it’s clear to me which side would even be willing to have a conversation about how to care for them.

I can assure you that those of us who are woke (not as you’ve portrayed) are the first to have the empathy to act and support what I sense you care about—

During Obama’s time we were portrayed as communists and socialist…

Now it’s “woke”.

I’m done with labels.
Labels accomplish nothing.

Those who are ready to criticize everything in government are seldom the ones ready to run for office or support the small election efforts to find the leadership to begin to change our broken system.

I’ll have the dialogue on your points all day long about justice, balance and fairness—but I cannot support those who find it so easy to criticize and complain and then do nothing.

This may not be you.

But I surely encourage you to be involved in your community and have the talks face to face, talk to elected officials and get involved. Talk to Republicans and Democrats about these issues and help bring the change you want.

Thanks for the time taken to read and engaging.
