Pierre - it's always such an eye-opener to listen to you describe yourself. But don't say you're not normal - who is normal anyway and what is normal? I'm not normal in many ways too - and I wouldn't change you or anyone for the world! But I understand - there were enough differences that you felt completely like an outlier; I'm so grateful to science and learning so that we can continue to understand ourselves as humans and how we think and feel...

Do you know why it is that climate and war are such "big issues" that truly capture your attention? They are big issues to me, but I sensed you feel it's "way bigger" for autistic folks, since you used the word, "we."

I feel my youngest may be on the spectrum sometimes when I read from those of you who are autistic - and one thing that really struck me was that line. My son - at one point was so obsessive about it.

But I had to help him realize that if it was the only thing that he talked about with his friends - they would get tired of him focusing on one topic. I have to teach him social skills and to read his audience more and more -- I truly think he's on the spectrum. So when you mentioned climate, which I've read a lot about in your stories - it struck me.

Anyhow - forgive my little pensive rant. Thanks for being so authentic with us -- much love Pierre! Thanks for teaching us! 🤗
