Petrina, you said : “I believe sex is for a married man and woman but understand not everyone follows God's commands.”

What I wish you’d say and understand : “ I believe ……but understand not everyone has the same beliefs.”

Notice the slight difference in wording, but massive difference in meaning?

You imply: the belief IS the right belief and in fact a commandment and everyone else is being disobedient. Yes, I get it, that may very well be your intent.

Just understand everything else you wrote, doesn’t get read because you assumed the moral high ground of obeying “the commandment.”

The irony is the same church leaders preaching your belief around the world in all denominations are the ones committing adultery and acts of sexual abuse and then hiding it. (Evidence abounds for this fact…won’t take you long to find it, if you search for it)

The church has suppressed so much about sex and the natural beauty of what it is—it’s hidden and blamed for most sins.

Lastly your last point—“women bred to be mute” —yep, that’s also the church and religion’s doing for those women.

Women outside of those circles thankfully are being told from a young age how to know their body, to embrace sexual desire, to understand it’s not sinful to want sex, and to communicate it clearly….

You had some valid points, but I’m so tired of religion and its destructive force upon women, I just had to respond. I mean no attack on you and your beliefs.
