Paul, let me encourage you about your life and what you’re doing: it may look like your friends who are married and having kids is the “path” that most should aim to take—but I assure you: there’s never a better moment to travel and explore as you’re doing before having kids. I dream/hope/plan that I’ll do that—and it’s after the marriage building children rearing years. The risk there are: health and money—one you have no idea what older age will bring and the second requires lots of sacrifice and proper investing especially with several children and if you want them to be well educated…
So I admire young people who work hard and play hard before the marriage or child rearing stage. And for those who are honest with themselves and say: no, that’s not for me: I admire them greatly and wish others understand the power and help that provides to us all as a society who are mindful of who we are and what we want.
