😕Pamela...maybe it's just me...but this saddened me. What that boy wrote is so mean - you remember it word for word and it goes to show words are powerful even when they break us down. I hated what that teacher told you - like damnit (sorry had to curse bc how??) -- teachers are supposed to protect, uplift, guide.

It speaks volumes of the times back then how anything different/medical was shunned or ignored...that poor child was probably traumatized by how others then looked at her.
